Global Conferences

Institution overview

With the recent creation of television programs like CSI, CSI: Miami, white collar and Forensic Files, it is evident that fraud and corruption has become prevalent in our society. With continuous improvements in technology, it is getting much easier for fraudsters to penetrate different systems in different professional fields. These fraudsters spare no one.  We need to fight against fraud and corruption and we need to acquire appropriate skills to detect and fight against these crimes. Forensic investigation skills are the answer to this problem.

IICFIP Incorporation is a fast growing, unique, professional institution based in Delaware, USA. The institution has offices in New York and in Nairobi, Kenya and chapters in 38 countries across the globe. IICFIP does not only bring Forensic Investigators together but also provides forensic investigation skills training to all that are interested. Our members are well equipped to carry out effective forensic investigations in business organizations, governments and other situations requiring forensic investigation skills. The main aim of IICFIP is to minimize or completely eradicate fraud and corruption as well as cyber crime globally and to do so with success.

Our Vision

To be the leading forensic investigation accreditation training and standards setting body institute in the World by spreading our wings in all countries enabling our members to automatically bring to their clients global best practices in their performance of forensic investigation practice.

Our Mission

To promote excellence of forensic investigation skills globally by carrying out accreditation and other training in all countries across the globe evolving standards for forensic investigation processes and creating a process for validating new approaches to forensic investigation. To create a Common Body of Knowledge (CBK) for forensic investigation processes.

IICFIP conferences have taken place in Africa 7 times. Previous conferences have been held in Kenya, Zimbabwe, Ghana, Tanzania and Cameroon. This is an annual event but our goal is to have conferences twice a year spread out worldwide so that we are able to reach out more.

The conferences seek to bring together members and non-members not only to create awareness against fraud/corruption in Africa in public as well as private and NGO sectors, but also to build capacity for fighting the vices of fraud and corruption to foster development and growth of public and private enterprises as well as government projects.

This year’s Global Forensic Conference & exhibition will take place in Dar-es-Salaam, Tanzania on the 23rd to 25th June, 2015 at the Double Tree Hilton. The forum not only creates awareness against fraud/corruption in Africa in public as well as private and NGO sectors but also builds capacity for fighting the vices of fraud and corruption to foster development and growth of public and private enterprises as well as government projects.

The IICFIP programme has benefited many who have testified that their attitudes have been changed and their perception of fraud and corruption changed drastically. Many have promised to go back to their organizations and government and put in place the systems that are recommended by the experts at the conferences.

We invite all management level staff/managers, Directors and Audit Committee of all organizations including central government departments and ministries. Also welcome are, accountants, judicial officers, investigators, anti-corruption officers, law enforcement, investigative journalists, government regulative inspectors and auditors, customs control staff, academicians interested in investigative skills and professors of auditing and accounting.
